The spacious 2.5-room apartment combines comfort, character and one of the things we love most about this place: the view. From the living room and balcony, the Churfirsten dominate the landscape, while the Säntis greets you from the other side.

Whether you come for a few quiet days, an active holiday in the mountains or simply some time away from everyday life, Halden4a gives you a comfortable base from which to experience Toggenburg.

Step outside and you are surrounded by the Alpstein and Churfirsten mountains. Hiking, skiing, biking and countless other activities are within easy reach, with Chäserrugg and the Churfirsten right on your doorstep.. Or stay home, light the fireplace, open a bottle of wine and simply enjoy the view.

The approximately 99 m² apartment offers a generous open living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, an additional room, bathroom and a large covered balcony.

Large windows bring the mountains into the apartment and create a bright, relaxed atmosphere throughout the day.

The Apartment

Our spacious mountain apartment in Unterwasser combines Swiss character, modern comfort and unforgettable views of the Churfirsten.

Large windows frame the Churfirsten and fill the room with natural light. Step directly onto the covered balcony, settle into the window seat with a book or enjoy an evening by the fireplace after a day in the mountains.

Living Room

Make yourself comfortable on the sofa, enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and watch the mountains change with the weather and the light.

The custom-built window seat might become your favorite place in the apartment. Morning coffee, an afternoon book or simply doing nothing while looking across the valley all work equally well here.

Dining Room

At the center of the dining area is a custom-made Swiss stone pine table with a slate inset, accompanied by a traditional corner bench and chairs.

There is plenty of room for a long breakfast before heading into the mountains, dinner with family and friends, or a relaxed evening with a glass of wine.

Kitchen

The open kitchen is fully equipped for your stay, whether you are preparing a quick breakfast or cooking dinner after a long day outside.

With appliances, refrigerator, freezer, cooktop and the essential cookware, crockery, glasses and utensils, you will find everything you need to feel at home.

And in Switzerland, of course, there should always be an opportunity for a Raclette evening.

The 13 m² master bedroom is a peaceful place to retreat after a day exploring Toggenburg. A comfortable double bed, bedside tables and wardrobe provide everything you need without overcomplicating the space.

But the real highlight is waiting outside the window.

Wake up, look towards the Säntis and take a moment before starting the day.

The quiet location above Unterwasser / Alt St. Johann makes it easy to slow down, sleep well and enjoy being away from the noise of everyday life.

Sometimes the best part of a mountain holiday is simply waking up in the mountains.

Additional Room

A little extra space makes a difference

The additional room, with two sky lights that can be opened, gives you flexibility during your stay at Halden4a. It has two beds and can be easily extended by a third bed.

Use it as a quiet retreat, a place to read, work or simply to keep your belongings organised while enjoying the rest of the apartment.

It is one of those spaces that makes Halden4a feel less like temporary accommodation and more like a home in the mountains.

Especially for a longer stay, having a little extra room can make all the difference.

The spacious covered balcony at Halden4a looks directly across the Toggenburg valley towards the dramatic Churfirsten mountain range.

Start the morning outside with a coffee. Watch the weather move through the valley during the afternoon. Enjoy an aperitif as the evening light changes the mountains.

Every season creates a different view. Green alpine meadows in summer, changing colours in autumn, snow-covered mountains in winter and fresh beginnings in spring.

You may come to Toggenburg for the mountains.

You might find that some of your favorite moments are spent simply sitting here looking at them or observing the skiers on the slopes.
